It is however a report mostly based on a previous report that Jin Canrong, Deputy Dean of IR at Renmin University, claimed that such microwave weapons were used, so evidentially this is not enormously helpful. There are obviously questions about why they would use such weapons and escalate matters, whether such a weapon could even be constructed to be used at such a distance, etc.
