Visualizing each country’s most valuable export
- theamk 6y agoSo this is pretty misleading, because it shows a single item, and this favors items which cannot be subdivided further. For example, USA has "Petroleum" as a most valuable export, same as Iran and Iraq. But more detailed data [0] shows: $95.8B "Refined Petroleum" $191B "Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof" $142B Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof ... You cannot really draw any conclusions based on a name of a single "top export" alone, you really want to consider the overall contribution of this export.
