I think that a private company making their own hardware product should be allowed to control what third parties get access to their hardware and should be allowed to charge whatever they like for it, and the market will decide whether or not there is any demand for it.
- HideousKojima 6y agoI think someone who purchases a product should have the right to do with it as they please, and in the case of a computer or phone that means installing and running whatever software they feel like.
- drstewart 6y agoI'd love to sail my Ford Escort to the Bahamas, that should mean Ford needs to support a nautical option on all its cars.
- HideousKojima 6y agoFord actively preventing you from converting your car into a boat has nothing to do with them supporting such an option.
- jrek 6y agoThe truth is we can both think what we like, but my view is the reality (cf. switch, ps5, xbox) and yours is wishful thinking.
