If they had done the exact same thing they did today but settled on 10% instead of 15% I am extremely confident that the response from HN would have been the same.
- sjwright 6y agoAnd that's despite 15% likely being near to or below cost for Apple. Remember, Apple sells a LOT of store credit through retail gift cards where Apple probably sees less than 80 cents in the dollar.
