Would geometric algebra simplify a CAD program (or are there any CAD system that use geometric algebra)? Would learning geometric algebra make synthesis of mechanical linkages easier (planar/spherical/spatial)?

It would be useful for CAD, but hasn't been done yet, since CAD software is a large project.
