JSX is a templating language too. Yes, it's intertwined more easily with JS but it's still a syntax you have to learn. As someone that used plenty of such languages (Handlebars, etc) in the past, and still does today.. people make too much of this sometimes.
- cageface 6y agoThe big win of JSX is that you get full type checking on your templates as well as your code if you use Typescript. On bigger projects this is a huge help.
