- junon 6y agoThis is a motte/bailey bait and switch argument. Please refrain from doing so in further discourse.
- jamienicol 6y agoIt's no such thing. It wasn't even an argument - not everything on HN needs to be. As per the guidelines please assume good faith in further discourse.
- junon 6y agoYou misunderstand me. There was no need to assume anything. You used a manipulative debate tactic called motte and bailey. It invalidates your point entirely.
- jamienicol 6y agoI wasn't debating anything with that comment, so quite obviously you are incorrect
- leshenka 6y ago> understand why some might be offended by such terms Easy: attention seeking in attention (or, rather, outrage) economy. Who gets offended in most absurd way wins all their retweets. And then they get to be taken seriously.
