Surely defense against one vector is progress.

- throwaway894345 6y agoTo the extent that they're "an outdated threat", it's precisely because of systems like Aegis.
- JoeAltmaier 6y agoCount on your fingers how many such threats there are. And they can largely be dealt with diplomatically. The number of potential human threats is nearly uncountable. And they are often irrational, unpredictable and invisible. The new threat. I know where I'd put my money.
