The section 230 debate is misdirection and the social media disinformation bubbles working exactly as designed where both outcomes favor them as long as nobody asks the correct question! It is just another exhibit for why greater control is necessary. Regulate data markets like capital markets and you’ll force compliance that way. Extend public health orders to social media platforms. Hit them five ways all at once on two continents to make the position of the government and the people clear.
