There is some fantastic coffee in the UK (personally I know of good places in Leeds, Huddersfield, Manchester, Brighton, London). I think you need to know locals to help you find the good places, as they're usually a bit out of the way. I drank a lot of coffee in Oz though. I loved how easy it is to get a good coffee. It seemed more accessible and standards higher across the board.
