- brudgers 6y agoSince the Pentax 645 in the 1980’s, medium format zooms have not been uncommon. That’s about when 35mm zooms really took off. The new Fuji G system has zooms and Richo-Pentax has created new zooms in the last decade...and still sells FA models from the late 1990’s. More studio oriented systems still tend to only offer primes.
- rodgerd 6y agoAbout a third of the Fuji GFX lenses are zooms. They're less common than for small format cameras, but certainly have a place.
