Perhaps a corollary might be that not enough great engineers exist to give good estimates, so we attempt to avoid giving estimates with much consequence attached.
- slumdev 6y agoGreat engineers are engineers who build great software. Estimating is not and never was part of the job. Don't be guilted into thinking you aren't great just because you don't have a crystal ball.
