        Wow. That should lay rest to any questions about the slow progress of Sub-Saharan Africa in history. Crossing an expanse of desert that massive would be next to impossible before mechanized transport

    Ate least they only need one timezone. Had they ended up in the longitudinal direction, they would have less climate changes but lots of timezones.

      Haha that'd be annoying as hell. We do have 2 timezones, though (because of Rapa Nui)
