Having an identity provider service intermingled with services by the same company and not differentiating between providing the identity service and any other service is the core of this problem. Really sad that Mozilla Persona did not make it. To me this was promising solution for 'identity provider service'. This section of service should be heavily regulated since it hs a lot of power. Also probably it should be paid for.
