I remember reading that about 40% of people tested suffered significantly more eye strain than others with a glossy screen. The theory was that there is a genetic trait affecting whether eyes tend to constantly refocus or not. Personally, it gives me a headache and makes it very hard for me to concentrate because I can't help constantly refocussing. The other 60% of the population think we're just being awkward.
