While a gasoline ban makes sense in urban areas, a blanket province-wide ban on gasoline vehicles does not seem practical or reasonable given Quebec's geography and climate. EV technology currently isn't good enough to be workable for the small minority of Quebecers who live in isolated areas with very cold winters. EV batteries don't like the cold and much of Quebec gets very cold indeed.
