I like the quote in the post from the Associated Press Fact Check:
"There’s nothing new about claims that dead people voted — the allegation comes up around every presidential election. In 2020, there’s no evidence that it happened."

Are we to believe Michigan's Voter Information site or Associated Press Fact Check that there is no evidence in 2020?
- eesmith 6y agoThere's no debate - at least, I can't find where Michigan's Voter Information site says there is or is not evidence in 2020. So the AP wins the credibility competition by forfeit. Perhaps you meant to write "Are we to believe anonymous claims about votes purported to come from dead people or the Associated Press Fact Check that there is no evidence in 2020? " The referenced AP article, at https://apnews.com/article/ap-fact-check-election-dead-voter-claims-fc7ba254fd37059f63ea764c18c2a4cb https://apnews.com/article/ap-fact-check-election-dead-voter... , writes: > After social media users circulated videos that purportedly showed the names of dead voters in Michigan, The AP contacted one of the people named. She was very much alive and had just beaten her husband at cribbage. > According to experts, seeing strange birthdates on voter rolls that appear to belong to deceased registrants isn’t evidence of voter fraud, and there are multiple reasons why it can occur. > ... False claims about dead people voting in Michigan also arose during the Michigan primary election on August 4. Michigan election authorities at the time said that there was also no evidence that votes were cast on behalf of dead people. This HN posting links to a list, yes. But how many of those are actually votes cast in the name of dead people? Vs. clerical errors? Or duplicate names? David Jones is a popular name, and there could easily be two people with that name, born in the same month year, who lived in the same ZIP code. To be sure, people do try to cast ballots in the name of dead people, eg, https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2020/11/12/john-fetterman-election-fraud-reward-request-texas-lt-governor/ https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2020/11/12/john-fetterman-el... . But the number of actually illegal votes like this are pitifully small.
