It might be a legitimate DMCA notice, but the DMCA does not apply globally.
- cortesoft 6y agoBut it does apply to GitHub, an American company.
- saddlerustle 6y agoAlmost every western country has ratified the 1996 WIPO Copyright Treaty, which requires laws broadly similar to the DMCA. The DMCA is just the US's implementation of the WIPO treaty.
