Coincidentally the Cruachan Scottish pumped storage loch also generates 440mw. Stores 7gwh of electricity. Obviously doesn't make any energy itself but has outlasted the nuclear plant it was built for by several decades. Built in 1965 for 500 million pounds in today's money.
