Down in New Zealand. Perhaps a failed algorithm update with the intention of breaking youtube-dl?
- lightlyused 6y agoI was suspecting something similar since I run heavy ad blocking.
- II2II 6y agoIf so, it is an amazing fail. On my end: Videos viewed via website since it went down: 0 Videos downloaded via youtube-dl since it went down: 2 (Granted, there were plenty of retries by youtube-dl.)

- balbatross 6y agoYoutube-DL is the only working part about youtube right now. What a world. FOSS ftw
- yreg 6y agoWhy? Do we have any reason to think YouTube is unhappy about youtube-dl?
