The tone isn't great, but I think it's in part like that because they're trying to pitch their project as automation. To me it seems more replacing/extending something (analog baby monitor), but that's not exactly automation. It’s up to the parent to move the speaker as they move to different rooms, as they can’t play the sound on any other existing audio infrastructure
