2010 is a very long time ago when it comes to the online dating sphere. I wonder how relevant this article is today.
- compiler-guy 6y agoThe behavioral patterns haven't really changed, although the sites themselves have.
- gooberwonder 6y agoSadly, OkCupid resembles the pay sites it describes in this blog post much more now than it resembles the 2010 version of it. The posts on reddit.com/r/okcupid paint a pretty bleak picture of it today.
- petr25102018 6y agoVery relevant. Hint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZTIbHIsIYw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZTIbHIsIYw
- lalwanivikas 6y agoThis video is extremely accurate. Being an average looking guy is soo depressing.
- cambalache 6y agoTry to be in the bottom 10% of attractiveness.Heavy sigh.
- abraae 6y agoLook at yourself as being in the top 90% instead.
- cambalache 6y agoI'm not, the bottom 10 does not belong to that group.
- abraae 6y agoWell it's only one person away.
- cambalache 6y agoNo. The ugliest person in the world also belongs to the bottom 10, percent or otherwise.
- gadders 6y agoTry politics. Lots of people doing well there regardless of looks.
- toyg 6y agoThat’s the power of... power.
- shard 6y agoEven being good looking is not enough. Here's an Asian male model not getting dates through online dating: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAo_mZMIUgg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAo_mZMIUgg
- user5994461 6y agoIt's irrelevant to today. In 2010 it was weird to date on the internet. In 2020 everybody and their mother is on tinder.
