In my worthless opinion it's not worth spending all my free time making sure I am prepared for a major disaster. If society really does collapse and I'm the only prepared person in a mile radius, with all the gear listed in that article, someone bigger and tougher is going to come take it off me pretty quickly.
- bingerman 6y agoPrepping beyond basic bugout-bag and having some extra food is pretty worthless if you are alone. Once you have a real community doing it to some degree it's absolutely worth it. City folks have very limited possibilities in any case.
- Kluny 6y agoI'd say that building a real community has far more prepping value than stockpiling ammunition and cans.
