This seems insane. Are other people having this issue? Seems like a massive Uhaul arbitrage opportunity.
- sct202 6y agoIt probably depends on the pricing model. The rental truck company has to balance costs of relocating trucks back into SF after one is removed on top of the lost business of local moves where that truck could have potentially been used for multiple local moves during the time it's being repositioned to better markets.
