What's the meaningful difference from other ARM chips which would make this impossible?

- redwall_hp 6y agoApple's not going to ship drivers for Linux, and it's a SoC. So someone needs to somehow write an open source driver for Apple's proprietary black box of a GPU. I suspect very little will work at all if someone can get Linux to boot on one, and it will be a very lengthy endeavor to get things up to being usable.
