This is purely anecdotal but my 70+ y/o father began showing signs of memory loss and (what we presume to be) early signs of dementia following his COVID recovery which was less than 90 days ago. His pre and post COVID mental health change is obvious enough that everyone in the family noticed. He was not hospitalized during his recovery. He spent roughly two weeks at home feeling run-down with a mild cough that cleared up quickly. His sense of smell is still returning.
