Can anyone comment on why oatmilk is so expensive then. Because oats are super cheap. But 1L of oat milk is $4.50 where I live, which crazy because thats more than regular milk.
- Polylactic_acid 6y agoLikely the same reason as always. Mass production. Everything about cow milk is mass produced and hyper competitive. Its a wonder that your milk costs so little and not that the oat milk costs $4.
- Nbox9 6y agoI can buy named brand Oatly for ~$4.50L or I can buy generic Oatmilk for ~$2.35. I can buy soymilk for cheaper than cow’s milk.
