The CRS is a points-based system that we use to assess and score your profile and rank it in the Express Entry pool. It’s used to assess your:
* skills
* education
* language ability
* work experience
* other factors. [Not psychology-related]

Richwine's proposal is specifically intended to displace the privilege-bias baked into measures of educational attainment.

- centimeter 6y agoIQ doesn't measure educational attainment. Adult IQ is not strongly influenced by educational attainment; in fact, twin and sibling studies confirm the converse relationship. If you have a high IQ you are more likely to have high educational attainment, but attending a high-value school will not raise your adult IQ from what it would otherwise have been (based on other predictors).
- sukilot 6y ago> IQ doesn't measure educational attainment. That's what I wrote.
- bJGVygG7MQVF8c 6y agoIQ is coarsely correlated with educational attainment. Your argument is a cope.
- Yoofie 6y agoCan you link to the studies you are referring to?
- centimeter 6y agoPretty much the entire body of genetic IQ studies over the last 30-some years have been consistent on this, so asking for "the studies" on this is like asking for "the books" on calculus. Take your pick! Here is an example: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4270739/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4270739/ "The heritability of intelligence increases from about 20% in infancy to perhaps 80% in later adulthood."
