The US already does this via proxies like wealth and H1B sponsorship.
- legolas2412 6y agoH1b is a temporary visa. USA does not have high skilled immigrant friendly policies at all. Out of roughly 500k green cards, only 15k are for high skilled immigration. Most (450k) are for family immigration, 50k for diversity visas (random lotteries for citizens of non-big countries), and 8k investor visas (visas for sale basically).
