If you're in TypeScript/JavaScript world, check out HyperFormula [1]. There's a summarized design document in the documentation that explains the AST, dependency graph, formula evaluation and lazy CRUD operations [2].
Disclaimer, I'm one of the founders.

- jackdh 6y agoLooks nice. Do you have plans to allow it to implement nicely with grid frameworks such as Ag Grid, Kendo etc?
- warpech 6y agoWe concentrate on making it a general purpose calculation engine and bring value by adding more formula functions (now there are about ~200 of them). And we will integrate it with our other product, Handsontable. It should be fairly easy to make any integration. If not, then we will be happy to help. So far I have mostly seen people integrate it with vanilla JS and Node. Any framework should be possible, as long as the data CRUD operations are performed through the HyperFormula API.
