Personally, it's because I can't set up X11 forwarding on every machine I SSH into
- KMnO4 6y agoDo you need to? Both VSCode and IntelliJ have remote coding capabilities.
- harshitaneja 6y agoVSCode remote works great. But IntelliJ doesn't have remote coding capability as far as I could search when needed it. You can use sshfs but it is not really a feature of IntelliJ and doesn't work well enough to be comfortable in, atleast in my experience.
