> All the above has been complicated by the fact that I accepted an academic job in August 2018, only to be told, after I had resigned from my previous job at Inria and moved to another country, that I wouldn’t be allowed to work on my own research projects (including Pijul), or at least that the legal status of that work outside of my holidays was unclear. What's going on there? Sounds like a hostile environment!
