The permission system on Android is still severely broken. Any app can access the clipboard at any time. There are many permissions that are not controllable by an end user. A combination of gyroscope and microphone data can be used to "keylog" everything one is typing. Any app also has access to a lot of information that is not covered by the permission system, such as Android ID, IMEI, SSID, etc.
