I don’t know where else they have them, but in Canadian supermarkets we have vine-ripened tomatoes and they are actually sold on the vine in small clusters. Turns out these taste very close to fresh natural tomatoes. Source: I grew up picking tomatoes from my grandmother’s garden and eating them like apples.
