I've tried it with the Tesco Clubcard app which has screenshots disabled. Also tried it out with some "Charles Schwab" app somebody else said they had problems in a reply here, scrcpy can record the screen perfectly. EDIT: also tried recording a youtube video in firefox private mode, worked, but without the sound.
