I would _love_ to abandon RSA, but Azure DevOps requires my SSH keys are RSA and no matter of fiddling with my public key on input seems to change that. At my home, and on our infrastructure, I only use ECDSA, but when providers _require_ RSA it's hard to stop using it.
- tptacek 6y agoI'm repeating myself but just to chime in on the most common pushback this sentiment ("no more RSA!") gets: nobody is telling you to switch providers so you can do ECC SSH. The gist of the argument is not to introduce RSA into new designs --- which is a thing you see people do a lot if you review cryptography implementations, and it's often a clownfire, moreso than NaCL ECC designs.
