If we give everyone an unique national ID and enable online/digital voting on issues, I feel we can cut a lot of bloat and move things faster.
Even though I dislike the US's two-party system, your suggestion just shifts the spending to other places. Cambridge Analytica didn't need political parties in the system in order to be effective.
