- Nextgrid 6y agoI wonder why The Verge considers Trump to be Twitter's nightmare. Twitter is under no obligation to host Trump's content and could've banned him long ago if they wanted to. Trump is a boon to Twitter, it was an endless outrage machine that generated tons of engagement while giving them a reasonable excuse for not banning him. In reality, Twitter is sad that the era of the "Twitter presidency" is over.
