If you used optically switchable film (seen in https://youtu.be/3OTjTBt6lBY?t=32 https://youtu.be/3OTjTBt6lBY?t=32) you should be able to make the wormhole appear only when active, and transparent otherwise.

- drivingmenuts 6y agoI just wish there was a way to get the kawoosh in there. The original effect was made by pointing a jet engine at a pool of water. I think later it was CGI.
