Australia controlled virus incidence with 3 key measures:
1. Widespread, free testing
2. Contact tracing so that every positive was tracked down and everyone who'd been exposed was isolated
3. Local lock downs wherever incident numbers rise too sharply, for as long as it takes to get the numbers down
There's no question America can do #1 and #2.
Can/will America do #3?
- tertiary 6y agoWhat's mask compliance like in Australia? I'm in a blue city within a sea of red. Everyone around me uses them, but drive 15 minutes away and you'll get looks for using one.
