Set and setting is so important, although I would prefer not to trip in a cold, calculated environment under supervision by psychiatrists. Maybe an actual shaman would be a better fit.
- MacsHeadroom 6y agoThe environments used in psychedelic research studies are far from the "cold and calculated" environment you imagine. There's a whole genre of academic literature on creating ideal environments for therapeutic trips. Actual psychedelic therapist offices look like excellent places to trip. Pillows and soft things everywhere, lots of "natural" colors and textures, plants, dim lighting and/or sun lighting etc.
