I realized after reading this I’m stuck in this trap with Epson and their ink. I installed new ink in all colors recently. Black printed fine a few days (shipping labels). Two weeks later I have missing lines on black prints now. I run the ink calibration cleaning option. Works fine for two days. Then the problem comes back so I clean and align again. I realize after reading this I’m wasting ink with the cleaning and alignments I’m running. I went to eBay and bought a used color laser writer from Xerox for the coat of a new color inkjet.
