- pjmlp 6y agoWhich is why I eventually switched to XFCE. GJS use is quite noticeable.
- jamesgeck0 6y agoIIRC, the optimization benchmarks Canonical did have indicated that JS hasn't been the issue in most of the Gnome performance issues they've worked on.

- kzrdude 6y agoTook a decade to get there. Yes, some of us didn't follow gnome through this time.

- xvilka 6y agoI hope they will get rid of it eventually like they got rid of C#/Mono applications.
