I really wanted to like systemd-nspawn, but ran into massive issues with poor to non-existent documentation, bugs (in particular with DNS between 'containers'), and usability issues. Also the inability to reasonably run non-systemd distros such as Alpine further killed my interest in it. Even distros like Ubuntu, which use systemd had to be modified to use the systemd network stack in order to function properly.
