No kidding, I tend to wait for Jetbrains to support things officially before seriously trying new languages. I just need my refactoring tools.
- spuz 6y agoIt's worth noting that the IntelliJ IDEA Java IDE was Jetbrains' first and it is written in Java. A few years later they invented Kotlin with a focus on strong IDE support. The language was designed from the beginning with tooling in mind.
- pvorb 6y agoAnd still I feel that tooling for Kotlin lacks behind the tooling for Java (but still far superior to many other languages).
