We need to have more information to conclude anything. Servers hosting Guerrilla Mail might have been seized for an investigation for example and OVH might have very little choice but to comply. I'm not saying it's great, but the story might have been the same if it was another provider. On the other hand, the location of the server might have a bigger impact as it changes which laws applies.
