To me, the important part of the article is that this strain may have rendered the vaccines useless, thus delaying immunisation of humans. If it says that, and that is not true, then it is alarmist, no?
- bobthepanda 6y agoIt is a statement from the Prime Minister of Denmark in the press conference explaining that the government is culling the minks. The Prime Minister is being alarmist, but quoting people verbatim generally isn’t; they are covering the facts of the event, including the fact that the person in charge and responsible for the newsworthy event said this statement. The AFP is not reporting whether the statement is true or false.
