I was hoping I would have just one cable going from the Pi to my monitor. Maybe it will be possible in the future via a software update?
- geerlingguy 6y agoNo, the USB-C connector is only used for power, and USB 2.0-speed OTG 'gadget' functionality. In the current incarnation of the Pi 4/400/CM4, there is no way to have a USB 3.1 type-C connector that passes through data, video, etc.
