Non US Election Zone?
I can't help noticing not a hint of election connected news here. I wasn't around for the last US election so maybe it's just the way it goes here.
Or it is not of any significance to my fellow readers?
Quite refreshing, and some respite, actually.

If they'd cover it on TV news, it's probably off-topic.[0] [0]: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html
- IndySun 6y agoNoted, and post hidden. Thx!
- greenyoda 6y agoNote that "hide" only hides a post from your own view. It doesn't have any effect on what anyone else sees.
- the_only_law 6y agoIt also doesn't seem to work on Ask HN posts.
- IndySun 6y agoI'm re-Reading the rules again...
- giantg2 6y agoI've seen posts about the election on here. Mostly concerning legalization of drugs. I don't think they were flagged. I guess "new or interesting" can be subjective.
- idoh 6y agoProps to dang and the rest of the HN moderater team for navigating the election cycle really well.
