I went though around 4 crappy unreliable inkjets before getting myself a Brother HL-3150CDW. It's been ultra reliable and fast, even though I only print about 2-3 pages a month.
It has a super low-power standby and is always ready.
- roel_v 6y agoDid you measure power usage? I've found printers, even in standby, to be surprisingly large power consumers.
- sterwill 6y agoI bought a HL-3170CDW years ago and I've had the same experience. Bought a couple new black toner carts, and maybe one set of color ones, all OEM. Affordable supplies compared to my previous Samsung color laser (toner got outrageously expensive after 2 years of owning it).
